Precision Learning Labs LLC began from two worlds coming together around one shared purpose: making learning work better for the people who do it and the people who guide it.

After years spent working within classrooms, instructional leadership, and enterprise technology systems, we saw how overwhelming modern education had become, and how often technology added complexity instead of relief.

We created Precision Learning Labs LLC to build thoughtful tools grounded in real educational experience, intelligent systems design, and a long-term commitment to supporting learners and educators.

Ruby Smith

Co-Founder · Educator & Instructional Leader

Ruby Smith is a veteran educator and instructional leader with more than 16 years of experience spanning elementary and middle school education, curriculum development, teacher mentorship, and high-impact classroom instruction. Throughout her career, she has led district math curriculum initiatives, served as a Professional Learning Team leader and Master Teacher, and consistently earned top performance evaluations for instructional excellence and student growth.

Known for innovative lesson design, data-driven instruction, and educator mentorship, Ruby brings firsthand understanding of the challenges teachers face every day inside the classroom. Her experience across diverse student populations, intervention systems, and academic leadership roles has shaped her passion for building practical tools that genuinely support educators.

Ruby currently serves in Arizona public education, where she continues to lead instruction, mentor colleagues, and advocate for systems that help teachers reclaim time, clarity, and confidence in their work. She holds a Master’s degree in Elementary Education and maintains educator licensure in multiple states.

Kevin Smith

Co-Founder · Technology Executive & CIO

Kevin Smith is an award-nominated technology executive with leadership experience spanning enterprise systems, AI strategy, cybersecurity, and digital transformation across healthcare, aerospace, and other highly regulated industries. Throughout his career, he has led multimillion-dollar technology initiatives, enterprise modernization programs, and large-scale data strategy efforts that drive measurable operational outcomes and organizational growth.

With deep expertise in scalable architecture, innovation strategy, and secure systems design, Kevin brings the technical leadership required to build modern AI-powered platforms that organizations can trust. His work has focused on aligning advanced technology with real-world operational needs while maintaining reliability, security, and long-term scalability.

Kevin currently serves as an enterprise Chief Information Officer, where he leads technology strategy, innovation, and secure growth initiatives designed to support complex organizations at scale. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Organizational Leadership and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), combining executive leadership expertise with a strong foundation in cybersecurity and enterprise risk management.
